dhIMG Twitter is a free program that works on pretty much any computer running Microsoft Windows and allows you to download the images from a Twitter profile easily. This tool can be extremely handy if you are wanting to backup your Twitter profile and don't wish to save every image manually.
The looks of dhIMG Twitter may be somewhat dull, but, as you will find out after using it, the practicality compensates very well the lack of visual appeal.
Working with it reduces to input the user name of the person from whose profile you want to download the photos, choose the maximum number of files that can be transferred and press 'Find Images' to start the search.
After a few moments, dhIMG Twitter will let you know if it discovered any pictures and in case it did, you can pick the location where you want them copied. Finally, pressing 'RUN' will start the process of retrieving the images.
